Plastic Bags
Many states and companies across the United States are making a positive environmental impact by banning the use of plastic bags. The states and companies listed below have banned plastic bags. If your state is not listed below, consider contacting your Senator or Representative to discuss putting a ban in place.
States Across America
California, Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, New York, Hawaii, Oregon, and Vermont have banned single-use plastic bags.
The District of Columbia requires businesses selling food to charge a fee to the consumer for a plastic bag.

Sodexo: Plastic bags are no longer available to customers
Disney: Plans to cut down on the amount of plastic bags
SeaWorld: Plastic bags are no longer available to customers
Kroger: 2800 stores no longer use plastic bags
Whole Foods: Plastic bags are no longer available to customers
Ikea: Charges customers for plastic bags.
